Abstract Submission

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Abstracts to be presented at the congress must contribute to scientific development and provide a conclusive message. Since abstracts submitted online will be printed as they are, please pay attention to typos. Authors are responsible for all typos.

The only valid method of submitting abstracts is online through the congress website. Abstracts sent by email or postal mail, independently of the system, will not be accepted.

Writing Rules

  • Abstracts will be collected through the online abstract summary system.
  • Academic titles should not be used in author names.
  • Names should be written in lowercase letters with only the first letter capitalized.
  • The names of the institutions and departments where the authors work must be stated.
  • Only the first letter of the abstract title should be capitalized. (Abbreviations are an exception.)
  • If abbreviations are used in the abstract, the full name of the abbreviation must be given in parentheses.
  • The purpose of the study and the methods used should be briefly stated, the findings should be summarized with sufficient numerical detail, and a conclusion should be explained within the framework of the presented findings.
  • When uploading the abstract, the fields specified in the system should be written without any additional headings.
  • The entire abstract, excluding the title, author´s name, and surname, should not exceed 300 words.
  • Abstracts will be collected in Poster or Oral format; the most suitable topic category for your abstract should be selected in the relevant step.
  • Abstracts must be in text format and ONLY 1 table and 1 figure can be included.
  • Any abstract that does not comply with any of these items will be excluded from evaluation, regardless of its content.

Evaluation of Abstracts
Abstract evaluations will be carried out entirely online by referees from the Abstract Evaluation Committee, with the authors´ names, surnames, and institutions kept confidential. Each abstract will be evaluated by at least 2 referees. The evaluation results will be sent to all abstract owners by email as a result letter.

ABOUT PRESENTATIONS

Poster Presentations
Abstracts accepted as poster presentations will be included in the Poster Presentations section of the abstract book to be published after the congress. For a poster presentation to be presented and included in the congress book, one of the authors must have completed their congress registration.

Oral Presentations
Abstracts accepted as oral presentations can be prepared using any of the electronic presentation programs. The time allocated for each presentation will be communicated in the acceptance letters. For oral presentations to be given, the presenter, as indicated by the author, must have completed their congress registration. Abstracts not presented at the congress will not be published in the abstract book.
